Advanced Garden Workshop- Grafting

Join us for this special extended and hands on workshop and take home your own grafted Cox’s Orange Pippin apple tree, one of the best tasting apples.

Learn the plant physiology behind why grafting works and see a detailed demonstration of 'whip & tongue' grafting.

You then get to practice and hone your skills before grafting your very own apple tree. We supply the grafting knives, rootstock and Cox’s Orange Pippin scion.

Expert grafter Steve Burns has an 8 acre permaculture property just outside Ballarat where he conducts permaculture and related gardening skills workshops and grafts a few hundred trees every year!
